My Work

During my time at ZURB, I've worked with some great clients, including Netflix, 23andMe, Reuters, Zazzle, Trapit, Crowd Science, and more. I've also had the chance to work on some of ZURB's own super cool products.

Reel

Reel (a ZURB app) was a ton of fun to work on. I built both the back and front-end, using Rails 3 and jQuery/AJAX to create a smooth, fast-loading slideshow app. The design grew out of many iterations of sketching, creating mockups, and coding - and quite a few conversations with coworkers.

Skills: Ruby on Rails, javascript, UI design, sketching, visual design, HTML, CSS

Rebekah Children's Services

ZURBwired is ZURB's annual 24-hour design marathon for a local nonprofit. For our 2011 partnership with Rebekah Children's Services, I led the creative team over the course of the day, starting with moodboards and moving into website design.

Skills: Design leadership, visual design, javascript, HTML, CSS

Literacy Bridge

Literacy Bridge is a Seattle-based nonprofit that helps spread knowledge in rural, poverty-stricken communities through the Talking Book device. I helped build the initial website (based on WordPress), and maintain the site code and design over time.

Skills: WordPress (PHP), visual design, HTML, CSS
